PC700 SERIES, C120-122F, NP6012/F & 6412/F COPIERS
Brand new for 2001.

$34.00 plus shipping

Our most detailed book ever. 75 pages. All service procedures, as well as trouble codes, common problems, weird problems, shortcut solutions, etc. to just about anything that ever goes wrong with these machines. Step by step instructions for everything!

Complete part number section. Our parts section is superb. We describe all parts in the section of the machine where you would expect them to be. Anything that might be confusing is listed everywhere we think you might look. Furthermore, we also list the factory manual reference number, so that if there is confusion, it is more easily resolved.

Although we know that some of you may buy your parts elsewhere, we list the dealer price that we charge you for each and every part. Thus, you can more easily give customers estimates and price quotes immediately.

Special offer. In 1998, we published a similar manual on the Canon PC1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 65, C100, NP1010, NP1020. If you also wish that manual (normally $37.00) you can order it now for just $25.00 with the PC700 manual.

Special offer. In 1999 we published our Sharp Z20-Z88 manual. If you wish that manual (normally $35.00) you can order it now for just $25.00, with the purchase of the PC700 manual. ___

Note: Discounted prices apply only in combination with purchase of the PC700 manual. If you have ordered the other two manuals at full price within 60 days of this flier, let us know and we will give you an appropriate discount.

Please note: The following section "ADF problems" is extremely important. I suggest that you immediately cut this out and scotch tape it to page 28 of your book. It fits quite easily.

ADF problems

DF & lift jam symbol flashing when sheet is placed on ADF tray. This almost always means that a piece of paper is stuck somewhere inside the feeder. You must remove it from the machine and remove the bottom cover to find the paper. It is sometimes a tiny scrap.

Lift/Jam flashes when "Start" is pressed. Same as above, but can also be called by bad interlock switch (WC4-5030), bent interlock actuator, or bad ADF registration sensor (WG8-5206).

Page 34: Base. Base plate repair brace part number should be "FB3-9299," not FB2.

Page 37: Bypass Sheet. Delete "Bypass pickup roller." It's on the wrong page, in the wrong place. Sorry.

Page 37: Main motor (FG5-3457) price is $120, not $90. (also on page 65.)

Page 38: Bypass stack. Add "Bypass pickup roller." FB1-7303. $15.00.

Page 40: Print key part numbers. FB4-1120 for 735, 745, 775, 785, 795. FB2-4883 is for 710, 720, 730, 740, 770, 790.

Page 44: Feed in tray. FG5-6412 is for 790, C120F, NP6012F. FG5-6418 is for 785, 795, C122F, NP6412F.

Page 45: Add LENS CABLE. FB2-4702.

Page 51: Miscellaneous. Base plate repair brace part number should be "FB3-9299," not FB2.

Page 54: Draw yourself an arrow from "Registration spring clutch FB2-5163" up to the 3rd, 4th & 5th items (reg clutch drum, ratchet & gear.) You should order all 4 items together.

NOTE: Any part numbers that are changed should also be changed in the PARTS INDEX at the back of the book.
